As has been the case at other participating libraries, the Huntley Area Public Library has seen brisk use of its free Museum Adventure Passes. Sponsored by Macy’s, Museum Adventure Passes are available for checkout at the library’s Reference Desk. Passes are valid for 7 days and entitle the borrower to free admission or a special discount at 18 participating museums, including the Lake County Discovery Museum, Brookfield Zoo, and the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Due to the program’s popularity, one Museum Adventure Pass may be checked out per family, per loan period. Libraries have a limited number of passes for each museum, so passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
