ALGONQUIN – Are you a chocoholic?
On the morning of February 3, you can look forward to taking home a box of chocolate-covered delectable delights made up of a colorful tray of assorted items that will be dipped in premium chocolate fondue.
Your personal tray of goodies will consist of marshmallows, mini-pretzels, whole strawberries, cookies, and Gummi worms. Top this with making and decorating approximately seven truffles, and you have an irresistible and delicious combination.
Morkes Chocolates, (pronounced More-kiss), located in Algonquin, is hosting a demonstration for Sun City residents through the Lifestyles Department on how to enhance these sweet confections and learn how truffles are made.
The demonstration begins at 11 a.m., and you are invited to sign up ahead of time to reserve your seat.
Indulge your senses, stir your imagination, and experience your inner child as you taste these wonderful treats. Have you ever seen a Bingo card made out of chocolate with raised numbers? Just in time for Valentine’s Day—if they last that long.
