I am writing in rebuttal to Ms. Geri Alesi Levine and Mr. Fred Leznek.
Apparently they did not understand that my piece, GOOD FRIDAY, was creative writing – fiction.
I made no assertion of blame; I simply attempted to treat a familiar subject with a different point of view, that of a Roman soldier who was neither Christian nor Jew, just a man of the time doing his job.
Mr.Leznek’s statement that “unruly crowds” implies every Jew is ludicrous.
