Sally was a very nervous flyer. During a trip from Arizona to Maryland, it didn’t help that her connecting flight from Denver was delayed twice because of mechanical problems.
Then, after the plane was in the air, she noticed that the lights began to flicker. Sally mentioned this to her flight attendant, who told her she would “take care of it”
Moments later, the lights went out. Clearly the flight attendant had solved the problem by turning off the lights.
A passenger across the aisle from Sally who had been listening leaned over and said, “Whatever you do, please don’t ask about the engines.”
Harry asked his wife: “Did you leave a tip for the boy who delivers our paper?”
His wife replied, “Yes dear. I put some of it in the bushes, some of it on the roof, and some of it in the front yard.”
