As both Hampshire and Grafton Townships have released their property assessments, Sun City Property Assessment Council will hold a second Assessment Information Expo for both Hampshire and Grafton Township residents in the Oak and Elm Rooms at Meadowview Lodge on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 8 a.m. to Noon.
Interested residents will need to register by 3 p.m. on September 9th on a signup roster in the Reading Room in Prairie Lodge. For a full packet of assessment information, each resident will need to provide their name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address (if they have one). The Expo will then provide the resident with a packet of assessment information, including the resident’s Model Report, the townships assessment data, and prior year’s tax bill to help understand the data contained there. This will help residents see how their assessment compares to other homes of the same model in the same township.
SunCPAC members will also be available to answer questions about using the Model Report and the assessment appeal process. It is anticipated that a similar Expo will be held on September 17th in the Oak and Elm rooms for Grafton residents who register by 3 p.m. on September 16th and September 24th in the Willow Room for Grafton residents registering before 3 p.m. on September 23rd. If Rutland publishes within this time frame, Rutland packets will also be available for registered residents–so keep a watch in the Sun Day for the announcements.
If you have questions about your assessment, plan to stop in at the Expo and get answers.
