Claudia Anderson of N-11 is back with another of her āmoments.ā Thanks for your contributions, Claudia.
āI had read an article regarding recent break-ins and how to prevent it from happening to you. One of the things mentioned was to not hide jewelry in the usual easy-access places. I decided to change where I kept the very few items I wear when I leave home, if I remember. I spent about 15-30 min deciding on a place. My final decision was to leave them where they are now. Okay, so a few days pass, and I am going out on a Saturday. I spent about 15 minutes looking for my new hiding place, ready to cry, because I looked everywhere that I thought would be a good place. I did not find the items and got really upset and left home without my rings and things. As I was brushing my teeth that night, I found the box with my stuff where I placed it when I moved here. I was thrilled and wonāt hide my stuff because I can no longer remember any new hiding places.ā
Claudia, Iām sure many of us have done the same thing and are perhaps still looking for the items we hid.
At a recent Sun City Concert Band rehearsal, our first chair clarinetist couldnāt figure out why her instrument wasnāt producing a good sound. Then she realized sheād forgotten to put a reed in the mouthpiece. The geezerbug bites again!!!
Finally, the stand-up master Steven Wright says things that seem to fit in with āgeezer momentsā like: āIf everything seems to be going well, you have obviously missed something.ā
Iām still waiting for one from you. I know you have āmoments.ā Send them to me at greengeezer9@comcast.net. I look forward to hearing from you.
