Music and more

In the year 2000, a few musicians living in Sun City decided to come together to make music. The first rehearsals had nine members. The group quickly grew to 15 within a year. It was decided the band needed an audience. The Multi-purpose Room was chosen as the venue.

To encourage attendance, free refreshments were offered using the Sun City mantra: “provide free food and they will come.” Since that time, with the support of Sun City residents, the band has grown to 56 members. Some members have spent their entire adult life as musicians, music teachers, or band directors. Others returned to their instruments after many years. We work hard and enjoy making good music. Come to the concert and you will agree!
