As a resident of Sun City Huntley on a minimal fixed income, I strongly disagree to increase the Sun City Community Association of Huntley, Illinois’ 2013 budget from the previous amount approved in 2012. The proposed line item of $127,313 (a 3 percent increase from 2012) for employee incentive plan for “doing a good job” is ludicrous in this economy. Most business enterprises have cut salaries and wages in the past three years and have eliminated overtime or any other incentives in order to maintain staves. The Social Security benefit is only increasing 1.7 percent after two years without an increase and the cost for essentials such as food, clothing, shelter, and health continue to skyrocket beyond the means of most residents. The new norm is to do more for less for most of us. Why should the management and staff of Wentworth Group be treated differently?
Please consider my opinion and share with other members of the Board of Govenors when voting on the budget.
Your continued support is appreciated.
Sincerely,

Hey Mason – I hope you’re pleasantly stuffed from Thanksgiving.
Now, about your pick of Christmas music. While I agree TSO seriously rocks! – what about Mannheim Steamroller’s version of Deck The Halls or Hark! The Herald Angels Sing? But then, what do I know? I like everything from Woody Herman (Jazz Hoot) to Travie McCoy/Bruno Mars joint venture of “Billionaire” (uncut version only) Heck, I still enjoy listening to Who Let The Dogs Out! lol!

Best CD ever – “The Forgotten Carols” – Michael McLean. Find this one, Mas, you will love it, too.
Also great CDs – “The Christmas Angel” and “Christmas in the Aire” – both by Mannheim Steamroller.
Favorite songs and artists in no particular order:
“My Favorite Things” from the soundtrack of “The Sound of Music.” It may not be a Christmas song, but it makes me feel like Christmas.
“Little Drummer Boy” by most anyone, including Josh Groban, Kenny G, and many others. Obvious reason, I’m a drummer.
“Ave Maria” – Perry Como
“White Christmas”
“Have Yourself a Merry Christmas”
The Chestnuts roasting song by Mel Torme
