A newlywed wife said to her husband when he returned from work, “I have GREAT news for you. Pretty soon, there are going to be three in this house instead of two.”
Her husband, clearly delighted, ran to her with a big smile on his face.
He was glowing with happiness and kissing his wife when she said, “I’m glad you feel this way since tomorrow morning my mother moves in with us.”
Tom was trying to get his history class to understand how the Indians must have felt when they first encountered the Spanish explorers.
“How would you feel,” he asked, “if someone showed up at your door and looked very different, spoke a strange language, and wore unusual clothes? Wouldn’t you be a little scared?”
“No,” a boy in the front row answered, “I’d just figure it was my sister’s date!”
