The owner of a large store was awakened by his phone ringing at 1 a.m.
“I am sorry to bother you,” said a sad voice. “But I’d like to know what time you open the store.”
“I open the store at 10:00 a.m.” said the owner angrily, and he hung up.
About an hour later, just as the owner had fallen asleep, the phone rang again.
“I am sorry to bother you again,” said the sad voice, “but don’t you ever open earlier than 10 a.m.?”
“No!” shouted the owner. “I never open the store any earlier than 10 a.m. You will just have to wait to get in.”
“Oh, I don’t want to get in, sir,” said the sad voice. “I want to get out!”
