Before we get to this editionās special recipe, I am looking for your recipes, whether they are something new or an old family favorite. Have you got one to share? If so, please send to me at greengeezer9@comcast.net
Recently, Judy and I were at the Lessnersā home for game night. On this particular night, Denise Lessner served these scrumptious homemade delights called Peanut Butter Candy. I couldnāt stop eating them and asked Denise for the recipe. I plan to use it as a fun cooking activity with some of our āgrandiesā (as our Australian friends refer to their grandkids). They are simple to make and simply delicious. Give them a try. Thanks, Denise.
Peanut Butter Candy
2 lbs. almond bark
12 oz. plain peanut butter
Melt these two ingredients in a 200 degree oven, stirring occasionally until melted.
Add in the following:
2 cups of Rice Krispies
16 oz. dry roasted peanuts
2 cups of mini marshmallows
Mix all ingredients together and drop into mini candy paper cups
Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Note: Before serving, please check with guests to make sure the treats
are not consumed by those who have peanut allergies.

Sam- I made these. OMG!!! Too bad not a single crumb ever made it to the grandkid’s house. I rationalized this gluttony by convincing myself peanut butter is a good for you protein. Thank you Sam and Denise for sharing.
