The ‘Vegabond’ of Art

By My Sunday News

In the almost five years since the Sun Day spoke to Cesar Vega, N. 31, regarding his rather unique collection of multi-medium art, he has managed to significantly add to it. “Vega’s perfectly scaled and oftentimes operable toothpick models are nothing short of incredible,” the 2010 Sun Day story on the artist read. During several brief conversations with the Sun Day over a period of about two weeks, Vega wanted to stress the size of his collection; to let people know that he is still, in fact, working. He does not delve into what new pieces have been added but that he continues to be proud of the work he produces.
