It threatened to rain, but it didnât, and when the Memorial Day Parade started at 11 a.m., the sky cleared. And, for the first time, Huntley Community Radio had its very own float, thanks to Scott Chamberlain and his wife Sharon, who actually built the float. And also kudos to Kevin Hillner who provided the wagon. Many of our radio stars and volunteers rode on the wagon and many more walked alongside the float over the whole parade route.
We also are going to be working with the 4th of July fireworks show, and weâll be giving you details in the next column.
