I am a coordinator of Neighborhood Watch for N38 in Sun City. Huntley Police have been a great help to us and very corporative and I really appreciate it.
I am very upset with the article in the Sun Day paper regarding the treatment of Dr. Zamir. If you know Dr. Zamir, he is a very good doctor, one that will do everything to help his patients. He saw his patient in trouble and wanted to help him. Thirty years vs. a paramedic is quite a difference. I question why he was treated with the handcuffs and put in a police car. They should have recognized his experience and worked with him, not have him arrested. Knowing Dr. Zamir, I could see why he was upset he would do the same thing for you if you were in trouble.

Please let the bicycle riders know that when they ride up on your left and shout, “on your left,” most walkers jump from their sound possibly because they wait until the last minute to shout these words. It would be so nice if they purchased an old-fashioned “ringer bell” which lets us know they are approaching.
