Voting for President
As recently stated by Ms. Beagle, “The conventions were over…” but the campaigns continue; leaving more opportunity to study the two main candidates and learn as much as we can about their respective stance on the major issues of our times. The upcoming three debates will become most important as we consider the direction of America’s future for decades to come, and learn where each candidate stands.
It is unrealistic to believe that our vote for anyone other than those two candidates can elect our next president. Rather than wasting our vote, the choice we make should depend upon the issues and the platform of each party and its candidate. Consider the issues having major impact, learn where each candidate stands, then vote for the better direction. In other words, promise to become an informed voter. If you still can’t vote for the person, vote for the platform on the issues that matter most.
Please also consider that the next president will appoint our next two Supreme Court Justices.
