Art in My Secret Garden’s eighth annual event will be hosted by the Pencil & Palette Club of Sun City on May 20 and May 21 from 12-4 p.m. at the Gardens of Woodstock. The Gardens of Woodstock is located at 5211 Swanson Road near the Rt. 47 and Rt. 176W intersection in Lakewood.
The idea of having an art show started when a group of artists from the club got together to paint at the Gardens of Woodstock 7 years ago.

The beauty and tranquility of the gardens inspired the painters to have an art show and the details were worked out with the owner.
Members of the club are given an opportunity and incentive to exhibit their art at one of the most alluring gardens in the Chicagoland area complete with winding pathways, waterfalls, sculpture, and lily ponds.
At this event people can purchase one-of-a-kind art including watercolor, drawings, oils, and digitally enhanced photographs from about 20 artists. The majority of the event will be held indoors. There will also be a cash bar with refreshments and live entertainment. Cash, check or credit card will be accepted with no admission fee.
Art in My Secret Garden is a wonderful way to view original art and at the same time spend a beautiful afternoon strolling through enchanting gardens.
