For the past six years, The Stingrays Swim Club has consistently been walking away with top club honors for medals garnered in the Illinois Six County Senior Swim Meet held more recently at Addison, IL. This year’s July 20 meet, with its usual 7 event format, proved that the Stings continue to be up for the challenge!

Here are the stats:
2012: Thirteen swimmers earned 30 total medals and 20 Gold medals
2013: Eleven swimmers earned 30 total medals and 22 Gold medals
2014: Sixteen swimmers earned 58 total medals and 37 Gold medals
2015: Eight swimmers earned 30 total medals and 20 Gold medals
2016: Ten swimmers earned 24 total medals and 15 Gold medals
**2017: Fifteen swimmers earned 63 total medals and 38 Gold medals
Looks like those difficult Saturday A.M. practices, under the leadership of Coaches Len Lencioni and Chris Hinde, have really paid off for our aquanauts! Here are this year’s numbers:
