Now anyone in Illinois can vote from the comfort of their home. No need to stand in lines. You can easily request a ballot by mail or get one online at ILVoteAtHome.org. You will receive your ballot 2-3 weeks before the election. You can sign up for Informed Delivery to track your request and see when your ballot is on its way to you. You can then return it by mail, in person to the county clerk or on Election Day at your polling place. If you mail the ballot in the pre-paid (no stamp needed) envelope, your signature is your guarantee nobody can steal or cast your ballot. You can also register to vote (last day is October 9) or check your registration status at ILVoteAtHome.org Remember, your VOTE is your voice. Use it.
