The Train Club will open its traditional Holiday Train Display on Friday, November 22, 2019, the Friday before Thanksgiving. Trains will be running in the Prairie Lodge Social Lounge, 12880 Del Webb Blvd, Huntley IL 60142, from Friday November 22, 2019 through Sunday December 29, 2019. Running times will be from 11-5 pm Saturdays and Sundays and Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. On some days we may have extended hours dependant on other activities in the Lodge. Also, please note the lodge will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and will close at noon on Christmas Eve.
This year’s train raffle will feature Lionel Santa Fe Super Chief train sets that include track, engine, railroad cars and transformer. The raffle will be held on Monday December 23 at 3 p.m. and winners need not be present. So bring your kids, grandkids and cameras and spend some time enjoying this Holiday tradition and our trains.
The Railroad Club is proud to sponsor this Holiday event and we invite all Sun City residents, their family and friends, as well as residents of neighboring communities, to this annual tradition. The event is free but we do ask that all children be accompanied by an adult.
