In these days of general disillusion with government and disgust with dishonest politicians, I understand why some declare -“Politicians – they’re all dishonest and for themselves.” Still while a certain skepticism may be warranted, we also want to be open to good candidates. I’m willing to listen to candidates who’ve proven themselves leaders in working with others to address the very real problems in our communities. Those are the kind of candidates who can make a difference in Springfield and that’s why I’m hoping you’ll learn more about Martha Paschke, running for District 65 Representative.
Here’s what has impressed me about Martha: She’s a working mom who cares deeply about the environment, healthcare and education. She’s made a real effort to get to know the issues of concern for District 65 citizens, making over 13,000 calls to District 65 citizens and holding innovative Facebook Live forums on issues promoting small business, the environment, fair taxes and senior issues.
This is a candidate who wants to represent our district instead of working for political gain. As a former teacher and mental health worker, Martha is a forward-thinker who understands the scientific challenges facing us, ranging from climate change to Covid. Like 61% of Americans, she supports sensible legislation to protect people from gun violence, as opposed to our present representative who has received a 100% rating from the NRA meaning he’ll always promote guns without the reasonable controls recommended by experts
Finally Martha has is open about her stand on issues, which you can easily find on her website. Our present representative is not so candid. I was surprised to learn that Representative Dan Ugaste failed to provide voters with positions on key issues, despite repeated requests. I think we have the opportunity to be better represented by supporting candidate Martha Paschke!

Trump backers should read Richard Wagner’s letters over again until it sinks in and they put this country over their right wing agenda. Trump actually lost the 2016 election by close to three million votes and blamed it on voter fraud and when the truth is revealed it’s always a hoax. He is the one who encouraged his North Carolina voters to vote twice and arrogantly claims he will not accept the outcome of this election.
Does anyone worry about his secret meetings with Putin??? I am a veteran and I could never vote for a president who ignores intelligence that links Putin’s payoffs to the Taliban for the death of American soldiers. Does anyone believe the Russians have something on him?
His sister claimed on tape that someone took his college entrance exams for him and his niece wrote the book about mental instability.
This is no Eisenhower, Regan, H.W. Bush or Bush Jr. Wake up republicans before he does any more damage.
I am not a liberal or a socialist as some would call anyone who will not accept the lies and name calling of this carnival barker. I am an American citizen worried about this country in the hands of Donald J Trump!

Comparing Trump to Hitler
Analyzing and characterizing President Trumps “off the cuff” comments is a favorite topic for journalists and Cable TV’s talking heads.
He, and other past presidents, have routinely been subjected to criticisms and compliments by the media and by citizens, as is our privilege.
Trump is who he is, but comparing him to Hitler, as was stated by local political commentators, is an unjustified comparison.
Hitler, along with many other despicable deeds, directed the killing of 6,000,000 human beings most of whom were Jews.
