The Village of Huntley has announced its foray into eCommerce with the launch of eUtility. This new capability is for online payment of water/sewer bills.
Village Trustee and Sun City Neighborhood 2 resident Harry Leopold said, “It is another service to our residents that came about by routinely looking for ways to make Huntley a great place to live.”
Leopold appreciates the convenience factor.
“This is a time and money saver for the customer and a less cost to the village to process checks,” Leopold explained.
A Village press release stated that “The website gives easy access to view and download current and past water/sewer bills. Payments can be made via either debit or credit cards. A transaction fee will be charged a service fee by the payment processing agent.”
The use of eUtility, as it’s called, is totally optional. Residents can still pay their water/sewer bills by check. Residents must go to the Finance Department’s page of the Village website, www.huntley.il.us to register to use eUtility.
