Characters of Character is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a firm foundation for children to establish strong civic values and we are focused on the Huntley Hospital!
We have been working with the Huntley Hospital for a few years and have found the need and huge appreciation for this donation. And, as a matter of fact, they are now being requested! However, we need to fundraise to fulfill these boxes and need your support.
Each kit includes everything the needs to complete their activities, and these are packaged in a fun, colorful, and visually engaging box for the child to have as an additional positive reinforcement, plus designed for easy storage at the hospital. They take the edge off of a child entering the emergency room or having to stay in the hospital bringing comfort and joy to each girl and boy.
One little boy was there on Halloween and this Superhero Box took his mind off of the other activities he was wanting to do. “Really, I get to take this home with me!” was his response.
