SUN CITY – Treasurer Bob McGouey presented the Second Quarter financial report at the July Sun City Board meeting.
According to McGouey, “year-to-date revenue was $4,075,000 which was $113,000 more than the budget.” He added, “In addition, expenses were down $74,000 which resulted in a net surplus of $187,000 as of June 30th.
McGouey continued, “Advertising revenues were up $30,000; Lifestyles and Fitness income were up $24,000; Restaurant revenue was up $36,000.”
On the expense side, he reported that “Payroll expenses were $1,219.000 which were $80,000 less than the budget.”
“Home sales were only 129 through June 30th which are 43 fewer home sales as compared to 2021 year to date” he concluded.
