George Ciesla makes an important point related to the abortion arguments. He asks âwhen does human life beginâ? The answer is that we donât know. The question supposes we are talking about a life with a soul,
personhood, character or whatever philosophical term is most meaningful to you. Of course, many people believe human life begins at conception, and one can even find support for that opinion in the Bible. However, that is not a scientific answer.
All too often some people will say âwe donât know when life beginsâ but that just shows they were not paying attention in Biology 101. That life, meaning animal life, begins at conception when something with its own unique DNA is created by the fusion of egg and sperm. Human life could begin as early as conception or as late when the baby draws its first breath. We just donât know. Regarding the abortion question, one should not take a human life. Thus, to avoid taking a human life, donât do abortions.

A bill to rescind the mandatory requirement for U.S. Military to be vaccinated was reversed. Vaccinations are no longer required. Does this mean the thousands of military families that were destroyed will now be made whole through some monetary compensation? Afterall,
the Biden Administration just sent 36 billion dollars to the Teamsters to boost their pension funds. Donât we owe our military something for their continued sacrifice as their careers were taken from them?

The Democratic Manhattan District Attorney has produced a guilty verdict after a lengthy investigation of Donald Trump. Celebrations and champagne toasts were warranted. But wait, the governmentâs premiere witness in the investigation, former finance chief Allen Weissenlberg, testified under oath that neither Donald Trump, nor anyone in the Trump family had any knowledge of his manipulation of his compensation package. âIt was my own personal greed that led to this.â Weisslberg testified.
This three year, multi-million dollar investigation is a dud. A waste of time, effort, and tax payerâs money. In an honest world, this individual would have been charged with theft from the company and he alone would have been tried, NOT the owner of the company.
The real shame here is that there is no public outcry about the use of governmental agencies in attacking rival political opponents.
