The Artisan Fair will showcase 75 high-quality local talent vendors. There are 22 new exhibitors, along with favorite sellers from past fairs.
There will be a variety of hand-crafted items including jewelry, needlework including crochet and knitted items, fiber art, holiday ornaments, paintings, sculptures, photography, quilts, table runners and toppers, kitchen textile gift sets, stained and painted glass, paper crafts and cards, chalk painted furniture and signs, pottery, shadow boxes, woodworking, and more.
The Sun City event is managed and coordinated by volunteers. Proceeds from the Sew N Sews’ sales will fund their many programs. They will have their goods displayed in the Hickory Room. Their projects benefit local residents with comfort quilts, and walker bags, the community with quilts and blankets for hospitalized children, and across the world with the “Dress a Girl” program for underprivileged girls. In addition, the Sew N Sews will raffle a beautiful quilt. Tickets will be $1 each or six tickets for $5. The winner need not be present.
Local business sponsors for the fair this year are The Growing Scene, and Assurance Home Services, and Morkes Chocolates.
