The Prairie Singers are back again to help ring in “The Warmth of the Holidays.”

The renowned Sun City Prairie Singers, a large bass, tenor, alto, and soprano choral group with a membership of 85, will perform their holiday concert on December 14, at 1 p.m. at the Huntley High School auditorium. This is a rare opportunity to witness their biannual performance.

Fred Joob, Prairie Singers President, shared, “The concert repertoire will be diverse, featuring Christmas and Hanukkah songs and a special appearance by Santa.”

Santa will have a treat for the children attending the concert and will be available for a photo opportunity.

Joob said, “We will have some favorites: First Noel, Frosty the Snowman, Have Yourselves a Merry Christmas, and All I Want for Christmas is You.”

Frank Gaughan and Joan Riffner will emcee the program.

Joob said, “We will have a few soloists perform. The singers will be in formal attire. Men wearing tuxedos and women in sparkly holiday outfits.”

With limited seats available, this is an experience you don’t want to miss. Secure your spot early. Tickets will be on sale from 5–6 p.m. outside the Birch Room at Prairie View Lodge on November 19 and 26, and December 3 and 10. You can also purchase tickets from any Prairie Singer member. The ticket prices are as follows: adults $15, children (3-12) $5. Please note that no tickets will be sold at the door.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Fred Joob at 847-989-9629 or Karen Kane at 609-240-6288. Remember, High School Senior Silver Passes are not valid for this event.
