We are writing to publicly thank the Sun City Board for leaving the outdoor pools open longer than originally planned. Some of us residents expressed our opinions on the original, earlier closing dates, and the Board showed the flexibility to make a change.
We had many days in the 70s and 80s well into September, and regular pool users enjoyed the use of both pools many times during the date extension. Our Midwestern weather already limits the outdoor pool season, so we appreciate being able to take advantage of all the nice days we have.
Sometimes residents don’t feel as though we have a say in decisions regarding our Sun City facilities, but in this case our views were considered, and it is appreciated.
