Uncertainty as to how and when vaccines will be available and who will receive them is the prevailing status of Corona Virus vaccine distribution.
Our nation, and the rest of the world, is trying to expedite getting vaccines from the manufacturers to the intended recipients. Well intentioned doctors, medical centers and politicians are all trying to do a job they werenāt trained to do. Their efforts are uncoordinated and confusing. None of them are trained in logistics.
That skill would best be served by proven distribution systems and personnel. Why not adopt the skills achieved by the genius of distribution, Jeff Bezos the Amazon man? His contribution would be a real value.
Thinking outside the box may make everyone safer faster.

My name is Joanie, and an article that was in our Sun Day newspaper in Del Webb was written by Therese Salvato Luce, āRemembrance,ā in Dec 10. It really got to me. I am so fortunate to still have my husband after 63 years. I canāt imagine a life if he should pass away before me. I know that can happen, I am not that naĆÆve! My best friend and sister passed away at the beginning of Covid-19, and we knew she must have felt everything that Therese described. I know there is life for us all after death of a mate and to have family, friends, church and neighbors to help us get through life but to live in Del Webb can help. There are so many clubs to join as a single person, it must help pass the time and not be alone 100% of the time. I know my hubby and I both thought about that when we bought 21 years ago in Del Webb. We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happier, healthier new 2021! God bless us all and please stay safe!

In the 12/16 issue of hangyourhat, Therese Salvato Luce shares her grief over the loss of her husband. This is one of the most powerful pieces of writing I have read in a long time. It is very sad and moving, as well as hopeful. Thank you Therese for sharing your thoughts and feelings so beautifully, and Iām very sorry for your loss.

The common place for most people is to beside those in need. It appears now days as seen in the news and T.V., people assisting with food, clothes, shelter and medical care. Strangers helping
strangers assisting with common cause. Working in unison like a well-oiled machine. It’s such an inspiration it compels people to help another when in the pass never gave a thought to give their time to a stranger. To reach out to help a perfect stranger with looking for compensation for deeds well done. Seeing what is happening gives a feeling what if the shoe is on the other foot? Would I get help when I was not physically able to do for myself in time of need? There is a saying – you are your brotherās keeper and so you are.
