SUN CITY – Last year there were a lot of missed celebrations, Halloween in Sun City being one of them.
Grandpa, Grandma, & Me (GG & Me) has held one of their biggest events, a Halloween Party for members, parents, and grandkids, the Sunday before every Halloween.
Last year the traditional event with games, a science activity, and of course trick-or-treating, was canceled. But this year, it’s back, but on a new date. This year it will take place Saturday, October 23.
Cindy Ptak, President of the GG & Me club, said, “Due to the Artisan Fair on October 24, the annual GG & Me Halloween Party is scheduled for October 23. Trick-or-treating has traditionally been the same day as our party, so Sun City will be hosting trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. Please remember to turn on your outside lights to let the little ghouls and goblins know you have treats for them.”
Barbara Mach, Vice President of the GG & Me club, said, “Every child will receive a Halloween bucket to hold their goodies from the party and to use for trick-or-treating.”
