HUNTLEY – My Sun Day News asked Village Trustee Ronda Goldman if there was any truth to a rumor that a developer has come forward with a plan to build single family homes on the Regency Square property.
Goldman responded with “No.”
She also shared, “A developer wants to build single family homes behind the Municipal Building where the old farm house is located along with an abandoned car. I visited a comparable development in Northbrook and it is a wow. All the homes will look like chic farm houses.”
And, according to Goldman, “There is another developer who wants to build rental units next to DeFiore’s Funeral Home” on Dundee Road, east of Haligus.
Both developers will need to make an application to the Huntley Plan Commission before any action can be taken on those properties.
