HUNTLEY — Crystal Lake residents Heather and John Barnes not only welcomed a new addition to their family but also now happen to hold the honor of having the first baby to be born in 2024 at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital.
The Barnes welcomed their baby boy Theodore at 11:35 a.m. on Jan. 2. He weighed seven pounds and three ounces and measured 21 inches long.
Big sister Annabelle, 4, was also in attendance to celebrate the arrival of her baby brother in the new year.
