With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, now is the time to find some ways to celebrate love, yourself, and others!
Get Creative
Creativity can bring joy in so many ways! Whether it be getting your nails done with your Galentines or buying cheap canvases and paints with your love, the possibilities are endless! Make memories and artwork that are sure to last!
Give yourself or others flowers
(Hint: this could also be a great last minute gift idea!)
Huntley’s very own flower shop owned by Katy Robisky has all your Valentine’s Day needs! While talking with Katy, she explained that her “price range is $14.99 and up in store and delivery is $39.95 and up.” She added: “our most popular Valentine’s bouquet is a dozen roses, but we love and encourage mixed flower arrangements more stylized in a cube”. With this in mind, have some fun making the most personal bouquet! Trust me, it would be greatly appreciated to receive. Visit Huntley Floral at their website or call them at 847-669-0900.
Go out for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner!
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is new to Algonquin on Randall road. According to the Daily Herald, it opened in late November. Reservations and the menu can be found on chwinery.com.
Share the love!
Handmade or store-bought cards and goodies can make someone feel so appreciated! Treat yourself or your friends, family, and/or special someone. Making someone feel loved and cared for doesn’t have to break the bank! Even planning a date or friends night can have that effect!
Thank you to Katy Robisky for her input. Hopefully this Valentine’s Day brings feelings of love and happiness to all!
