Today we see hundreds of thousands of people devastated by climate change. The oil companies have known this was coming since 1959.
Los Angeles, Brentwood, the Palisades, and other California communities have burned, and the people have lost everything. To hide the actual cause of climate change, which is called a hoax by those in the oil industry and connected oligarchs, the incoming president is telling the public to blame the fires on someone else. “Someone else” are usually politically aligned with Democrats who already have a bullseye on them by our incoming president. The man used his grade school naming of California’s governor, and told lies that there isn’t enough water available, and they should turn on a “spigot” from northern California to allow water to flow down to L.A. His lies are laughable until people believe them as true. The soon to be inaugurated president, and his GOP sycophants, repeat the lies over and over again. As is said, repeat, repeat, repeat a lie, and there are those who will believe.
Look at the California budget and you find that there is more money in firefighting agencies this year and next. The water pressure was turned off when utilities turned off the electricity to keep lines from falling and sparking more fires. There is no ‘spigot’ to turn on in the north. There is plenty of water and, as they install generators to get the electricity back on, the water pressure will allow water to flow again. Lies vs Truth.
