The Theatre Company of Sun City announces their Scholarship program is now open for 2016. The company decided it would again dedicate a portion of their annual budget to a scholarship fund directed towards helping young people.
The program was designed to help defer the costs of theatre-related training. Such training should be directed toward developing skills in all theater arts. Awards are open to all full time students with the requirements that they are a relative of a Sun City, Huntley resident. Equal consideration is given to all students who apply. Completed applications should be received no later than April 16, 2016.
Winners will be contacted and awards will be sent directly to the organization providing the training with the recipient’s name on the check. Recipients will be selected by the Theatre Company’s Board of Directors.
