The latest burglary in Sun City occurred in the 13000 block of Farm Hill Drive in Neighborhood 1. But this one had a new wrinkle.
The latest break-in information in Sun City provides both good and bad news.
The State of Illinois is not paying some of its bills on time, but School District 158 in Huntley is.
Friends and co-workers remember Jim Van Fleet for his love of the community, as well as his service to Sun City. “He used his business background to help in the decisions he made for the good of the community,” said Linda Davis, vice president of the Sun City Community Association of Huntley board of directors.
Sun City has recently launched a new in-house recycling program in collaboration with Huntley Waste Management that is already being implemented.

When Steve Bytnar first moved to Sun City in 2006, he got down to brass “tax.” The current resident, who has been involved with the Property Tax Action Group (PTAG) in Sun City, quickly surged into service, helping his near and far neighbors in Del Webb who were interested in appealing their assessments.
